EO's selection of aircraft cable products includes several meeting the MIL-W-5086 Aircraft Cable and more recently, the SAE-AS50861 standards. Our MIL-W-5086 Aircraft Cable and Type II cables may be used for airframe point-to-point wiring. They are rated to 600V and 105 oC. Both types have tinned copper conductors, PVC insulation, and nylon jacketing. Type II features an impregnated glass braid shield.
Type IV is 3000V aircraft cable with a temperature rating of 105°C. Type IV is made with a tin plated copper conductor, PVC insulation, and a nylon jacket.
MIL-W-5086 Aircraft Cable both feature PVC insulation and PVDF jacketing and ratings of 110°C and 600V. However, Type V has a tinned copper conductor, while Type VI's is silver plated.
Type VII is rated to 105°C and 600V. It is constructed with a stranded tinned copper conductor, PVC insulation, and nylon jacketing.
